The Challenges of Communities and Their Situations with Particular Attention to the Impact of Internal Conflict
Social NET Consulting (SNC) has successfully delivered an assessment on the challenges of communities and their situations with particular attention to the impact of internal conflict. The main objective of the study is to identify the gaps, needs, perception and provision of conflict early warning system to vulnerable groups in conflict affected areas. The assessment is part of a project entitled “Amplify the Engagement of Local CSOs, Actors, and Citizens to Promote Peace-Building, Conflict Prevention and Democracy for Sustainable Development” which is about to be implemented by Organization for Sustainable Development (OSD). The study data was collected from “Berhale” and “Ab’ala” districts found in Afar Regional State where the project is being implemented.
Resilience, Peace and Protection for Children Affected by Conflict and Displacement in Ethiopia
Social NET Consulting (SNC) has successfully delivered a baseline study for a project entitled “Resilience, Peace and Protection for Children Affected by Conflict and Displacement in Ethiopia” which is about to be implemented by Save the Children Ethiopia Office with an objective of establishing benchmarks for identified key indicators of project success and also to measure the overall project performance.The study data was collected from “Doyogena” and “Meda Welabu” districts found in SNNPR and Oromia regions respectively.
Healthy Youth at Work: Improving the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) of Youth in the Workplace” in Oromia region
Social NET Consulting (SNC) has successfully conducted and delivered an end-line evaluation of a project which had been implemented by the German Foundation for World Population (DSW) Ethiopia Office from October 2020 to September 2023 with an objective of enhancing the reproductive health status of youth in workplaces. The project is entitled “Healthy Youth at Work: Improving the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) of Youth in the Workplace” in Oromia region.
