Bridging the "Implementation Gap" through Ethnography!

I am deeply honored to be featured in the latest hashtag#THENEONMOTH Alumni Spotlight of the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at Central European University.

Looking back on my time at Central European University, I realize that my journey was never just about acquiring a degree; it was about finding a "how"—a systematic methodology to make social practice more inclusive and impactful. Today, as a co-founder of Social NET Consulting (SNC), I apply those lessons daily to bridge the "implementation gap" between ambitious project designs and the actual lived realities of communities.

In this interview, I share reflections on:

. The Power of the "Dual Lens": How combining the micro-level of lived experience with the macro-level of social systems allows us to uncover root causes rather than just symptoms.

· Being a "Cultural Broker": Moving beyond technical checklists to act as a bridge between NGO professionals and the grassroots communities we serve.

· Scholarship as a Humanistic Adventure: Why anthropology is lived far more than it is studied, and how global academic foundations can empower practitioners to let their "determination flourish in the real world".
