We kicked off an intensive 3-Day Capacity Development Program in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH). We gathered with an incredibly passionate group of local civil society leaders to explore what it truly means to be a transformative "Change Agent." We spent the day shifting our mindsets from a traditional charity-based model to a sustainable Rights-Based Approach (RBA) focusing on how we can empower local communities to act as active "Claim-Holders" rather than passive beneficiaries of aid.
Credit to the Welthungerhilfe (WHH) team and all the participant CSOs for bringing such vibrant energy, vulnerability, and dedication to the room. We are already deep into Day 2 today, diving into civic engagement and constructive dialogue!
